READ EVERY NIGHT!
Students should be reading at least 20 MINUTES EVERY NIGHT (PLEASE read aloud to your child at least 2-3 nights of the week. If you need books, let me know.)
STUDY YOUR MULTIPLICATION FACTS!
Students are expected to know their 0-10 multiplication facts by the time they get to fourth grade. Starting in the second quarter, our class will begin the "Multiplication Sundae Challenge". Each week, students will show mastery of their multiplication facts (sets 1-12) as they work towards earning an ice cream sundae party! I expect students to study their set each week for homework.
