Happy Monday!

Scholastic Wishlist

Hello parents and students! Last week was crazy but we are happy to be back in our regular routine! This week shoudl be smooth and easy. Some quick updates include:
  • Character Analysis Assessment on Friday
  • Wordly Wise Lesson 2 Assessment- study Quizlet every night!
  • Push Your Thinking homework will be due on Wednesday and Friday
  • Students earned their Silver Status in Horeshoes (our school wide behavior system)!!! We will eat lunch outside on Friday as a "picnic" for our reward!

World Wear Project: Shoe Collection Drive

Next week there will be a shoe drive for the World Wear Project. (http://worldwearproject.com/) The shoes get donated to needy families throughout the world and our school gets some extra money for each pound of shoes donated.  If your child donates a pair of wearable shoes, they will get a pass to go ice skating!!  You must bring in the shoes next Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (21st-23rd) to get the ice skating pass. If you turn in shoes after next Wednesday (boxes are in the lobby) you will need to email Alison Bowman at [email protected] to get the ice skating pass. At Morrisville we have a lot to be thankful for so let’s help those that don’t have as much! Thanks!
I have created a Classroom Book Wishlist to help our classroom library grow! We have a wonderful media center but having more access to quality books is important. Most of these books will be used as read-alouds in class and support for lessons. Please consider ordering a book or two for our class!! We greatly appreciate any help!
