Welcome!! | Where to find important information: |
Welcome Students and Parents! The school year is here and I could not be more excited to have your child in my class! Here, in our weekly newsletter, you will find the easiest access to our class updates, requests, links, and school events. Please check back each week for new information! I will be sending more information about the start of the school year in my first weekly email. If you are not yet on our class email list, please let me know and I will add you to our group.
I have had a lot of questions about what to do with your child's school supplies- some of you have ordered them ahead of time which have already been delivered to our classroom! If your students are bringing in their own supplies, have them bring them in on the first day and we will organize the supplies as a class. If you want to, you can put your child's name on their binders or pencil case. Other supplies such as pencils and expo markers will be used as a whole class supply. Click on the link below for our 3rd Grade class supply list: MES Clubs!!Check out the awesome list of school clubs offered here at MES this year! You will need to follow the links to register for selected clubs. If you have any questions, email the sponsor of the club and they will get back to you as soon as possible! Click here for the MES Clubs Website | General: Please continue to check your child's BEARS Binder every night for schedules, homework, reading logs, updated data walls, and occasional important parent letters. Grades: Data walls will be updated within a week of students taking assessments. Please sign the data wall to let me know that you have seen their grades! Weekly Updates: Weekly email updates will be sent home each Friday/weekend to let you know of any important dates, upcoming assessments, and school events. Never hesitate to email me to check in on your student! I love to hear from you all and I greatly appreciate all of your support! In addition, continue to check our weekly newsletters for updates! Class Book WishlistWe are lucky to be at such an amazing school with so many incredible resources. However, we could really use some help building our classroom library. Mainly, I want to add more quality children's literature to our class library. One of the most valuable things that I can do for my students is to put good, quality books in their hands that they LOVE to read. If you can, please consider donating a book to our classroom. These kids are the most deserving, hardworking students and I want to support them in every way that I can. Any support is more than appreciated by not only myself but your amazing, hard working 3rd graders that I am lucky enough to teach! Thank you for your help!! |
